Bekah Stines, LPC

Licensed Professional Counselor

I am trained in S.A.F.E EMDR (Somatic and Attachment Focused) which provides a unique body centered approach to trauma treatment.  I am also a Certified First Responder Counselor, with a focus in treatment of all first responders including law enforcement, fire, EMS/EMT, dispatch, and their family members.

In my practice, trauma integration incorporates an eclectic mix of body centered therapies, talk therapy, Intergenerational Family Systems and Internal Family Systems work where we look at the individual history and seek to understand our experiences with the systems around us.  I work to incorporate the unique strengths of each client using interpersonal and client centered approaches which creates a gentle and safe therapeutic relationship with my clients while providing direct interventions for lasting healing.

I have a background in addiction recovery, community mental health, school-based therapy services, group, and individual therapy practice.   I enjoy supporting local first responders who suffer from work-related trauma, chronic stress, and other traumas.  Additionally, I love supporting family members impacted by the "first responder life".  As a cop's wife, I can personally relate to many of the struggles unique to the first responder family.  During 2020, I made a significant pivot in my business to begin focusing on first responder treatment after my own family struggled to find culturally competent therapists.  This was something I could do to help!  Since then, my passion has grown to support local agencies and nonprofits supporting the first responder and their loved ones.

Recently, I have expanded my practice to include a master's level student intern program which provides professional services at a discounted rate to better meet the high demand for quality mental health care in our community.  My background in teaching allows me the fun outlet of investment in the next generation of developing therapists.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, being outdoors (hiking, paddleboarding, exploring), and traveling to new places.  I also love walking with my two German Shepherds, Duke & Sarge.

Hannah Flekenstein, MA

Professional Counselor Associate

In my own journey toward healing, I understand how courageous the first step toward support can be. I am so honored to walk along side of my clients as they navigate the messy, painful, and tricky parts of life. My goal is to partner with clients to create an environment of safety. I strive to understand the unique perspective of the world each person holds, created by the systems and relationships that have been a part of their stories.

I received my Bachelors of Science in Family & Consumer Sciences and Child Services from Montana State University in 2011 and graduated in May of 2023 from George Fox University with my Master’s Degree in Counseling.  I am a certified victim advocate with 10 years of experience working with survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and trafficking. Through these experiences, I have gained an understanding of the criminal justice process and the difficulties that many survivors face during case prosecution and beyond.

One of my greatest passions is supporting those who experience secondary trauma as a first responder and service provider. I believe that the work you do on the front lines is important and it is an incredibly unique calling.  As these professions can often be overlooked and misunderstood, I hope to provide space for these clients and their family members to feel seen and gain understanding of the weight that secondary trauma holds.

Outside of the therapy room, meeting new people and learning what makes them tick fills my soul. As a Montana girl, my heart is happiest when I’m with my people having conversation around a campfire in the woods with a sticky s’more in hand. My little family is always up for adventure, and we can often be found eating our way through delicious local haunts, taking walks with our silly basset hound, or on road trips with the music blasting.
