DR. BROOKE BARTLETT, PHD
Brooke Bartlett, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist and owner of Center for Trauma, Anxiety, and Stress Inc. (CTAS). A nationally recognized trauma specialist, Dr. Bartlett is also a highly specialized first responder and military psychologist with over 10 years of hands-on training and experience providing a wide range of culturally competent mental health services. She has an extensive research history examining first responder and military metal health, with over 20 scientific publications, dozens of national and international conference presentations, and a published book chapter. In addition to her clinical and research work, Dr. Bartlett is frequently featured in a variety of first responder-focused media outlets, including CRACKYL Magazine, industry podcasts, and more. Driven by a deep passion for serving those who serve others, Dr. Bartlett founded CTAS to deliver comprehensive evidence-based services that are accessible, effective, and rooted in cultural competence. She is available to provide culturally competent therapy to first responders in 42 states.

BETH SALMO, LPC, LCPC
Beth Salmo earned a M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Arkansas and has over a decade of clinical experience. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Missouri and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois. Ms. Salmo is also a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and Emergency Responder and Public Safety Certified Clinician (ERPSCC). Beth owns Thin Line Counseling Services, LLC where she specializes in helping first responders and others with high occupational stress, as well as their loved ones. She is trained in and practices trauma-focused CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy); EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), prolonged exposure therapy (for trauma); Cognitive Processing Therapy (for trauma); insomnia treatment (CBT-I); and works often with individuals presenting with anger, trauma, depression, anxiety/panic, grief, and moral injury. Ms. Salmo actively supports the military and veteran communities. She is a Star Behavioral Health Provider through the Uniformed Services University and Purdue. Utilizing cutting-edge skills gleaned from consistent participation in continuing education, Beth augments her skills so that she may help all warriors. She is married to a Marine (MSgt, retired). Beth sees people aged 18+. Beth started her dream practice in late 2021 following the death of a former partner, who worked for many years in law enforcement. Having several friends and loved ones in public service roles - including being a law enforcement significant other for many years - Beth personally understands the issues and dynamics that can present in these relationships. Beth sees first responder clients virtually (MO and IL), in person at her home-based office in St. Peters, MO, and offers walk & talk sessions.
